The Southeastern Michigan Industry Liaison Group (SMILG) was established in 1993, as a non-profit organization dedicated to creating and fostering a spirit of cooperation between Southeastern Michigan federal contractors and the OFCCP.

SMILG is one of the preeminent ILG's in the country. It was the recipient of the first annual Department of Labor Exemplary Service Award in 1998.

What is an Industry Liaison Group?

An Industry Liaison Group (ILG) is an organization comprised of federal contractors and other interested organizations, and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) that meet to improve and expand communications between the OFCCP and the business community.
